Core responsibilities
- MIG weld a range of metal components to specification
- Interpret blueprints and welding specifications to plan and execute work
- Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG welders, torches, and hand tools
- Use press brakes, cranes, and related equipment to fabricate metal parts
- Support machining and rigging activities as needed
- Perform soldering and pipe threading when required
- Maintain strict safety standards and a tidy workspace
