Quality Inspector

Worksite : Nashville, TN

Duration : 3+ months with possible extension

Pay Rate : $25.96 / hour on W2

Job Description :

This candidate will be responsible for reviewing and delivering First Article Inspection (FAI) package review results per AS9102 and client requirements.

Scope Review supplier FAI packages to confirm quality compliance (build components / requirements).

The role will require to comply with :

Track metrics on a daily and weekly basis to status progress on the FAI package workload.

Work closely with the client FAI team to address questions, submit drawing findings, and accurately structure FAI packages.

Basic Qualifications :

Self-motivated, high-energy individual with strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a quality inspection environment.

This individual needs to be a highly effective team player with strong communication and decision-making skills.

Demonstrates detailed drawing interpretation skills.

Demonstrates understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Efficient time management skills.

Strong communications skills.

Desired experience structuring / reviewing First Article Inspection (FAI) packages per AS9102.

General PC and MS Office skills.

Ability to read inspection reports.

Knowledge of manufacturing and inspection as well as use of hand measuring tools.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to ensure all the Purchase Order requirements are met.

Education

Associate’s degree in engineering or science with 1-3 years’ experience, or bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with 0-1 years’ experience.
