The Division of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Georgia advances the goals, objectives, and priorities of the university by generating private financial support, building, and maintaining relationships with alumni and donors, and assisting students with career development opportunities.

Students are not the only Bulldogs. Many parents want their own relationship with the University of Georgia, and we are committed to building a philanthropic community of parents. Position Summary
This position is based in the Office of Parent Giving within the Development & Alumni Relations Division. Its purpose is to oversee all unit responsibilities of the team including fundraising oversight and success, management of major gift fundraisers, management of special events, communications, and stewardship for the office. This position focuses on parent donors and helps institute a strong culture of parent giving by working with major gift officers on the Parent Giving team to develop effective and robust donor cultivation strategies. This position also works closely with campus partners including the Regional Development team, Principal Gifts team and development teams from schools, colleges, and units.
The ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of people and an established record of accomplishment in managing others and building meaningful relationships are critical components of the position. The incumbent must be passionate about leading, coaching, and inspiring fundraisers to build strong, engaged communities of donors. They must also be adept at partnering with other development colleagues and managing programmatic aspects of the job.
