Job descriptionA registered nurse with four years' experience within the last five years in Hospice EMR experience highly desirable, Wellsky preferred This role requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record as a condition of employment. Associates must comply with all state and federal driving regulations Associates in roles requiring driving are responsible for maintaining a valid and active driver's license. Failure to maintain a valid license may result in reassignment, suspension, or termination in accordance with company policies and applicable laws One year of experience supervising others to include : setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc. Ability to conduct bereavement support groups Demonstrates ability to plan, organize and make effective decisions You may be required to work outside of your regular hours depending on business needs Serve as a role model and set an example for nursing staff and other members of the health care Team Serve as a resource and support system to staff in problem solving and determine appropriate interventions In collaboration with the Administrator, determine the hiring, orientations, retention, evaluations, discipline, counseling or termination of the hospice's team associates Adhere to budget requirements regarding labor, pharmacy, DME, and medical supply costs. Collaborate with the RN Case Manager and the attending physician to coordinate the delivery of patient care Review all higher level of care patients including respite, general inpatient and continuous care Oversees both clinical and management responsibility for his / her team and serves as liaison to and conduit between the Administrator, Case Managers, clinical staff on his / her respective team, patients, their families, and the community Loves people Has compassion and patience Is comfortable working around animals and pets A quick learner who is dedicated to professional growth Is ethical, honest, dependable, and open-minded Is an effective communicator in both verbal and written English 401(k) matching Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid time off Tuition reimbursement and professional development assistance Referral program Other amazing benefits such as Pet Insurance, Auto and Home Insurance and Discount Programs!
