Job description

Community Asset Manager - Prodigy Property Management, Spokane and Spokane Valley, Washington

We are a well-established and growing property management company seeking an experienced and motivated Community Asset Manager to oversee operations at one of our multifamily residential communities. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in real estate, residential property operations, leasing strategy, and facilities oversight who is looking to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and professional environment.

As a Community Asset Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the property's day-to-day operations run smoothly while optimizing occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction. You'll oversee leasing performance, budgeting, vendor relationships, maintenance scheduling, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate understands the dynamics of multifamily housing, is results-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

This position requires strong working knowledge of local housing laws, fair housing regulations, lease agreements, and evolving market conditions. Familiarity with property performance metrics and financial reporting is also important, as you will be accountable for maintaining profitability, minimizing vacancy loss, and improving Net Operating Income.

While prior experience in property management is preferred, we welcome candidates with transferable skills in real estate sales, operations, or legal compliance who are ready to grow into the role. A professional and courteous demeanor is essential, as is the ability to handle resident concerns and team leadership with confidence and tact.

Candidates should be comfortable using key industry platforms and technology tools, Prodigy employees currently utilize Knock CRM, ResMan, On-Site, Meta (formerly Facebook Business Suite), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Google Business applications. Familiarity with Canva or other design software is also a plus.

We offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth, performance-based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and flexible spending accounts (FSA).

If you are a self-starter with strong leadership skills, a passion for property management, and the desire to help a community thrive-this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact. Join a company where your expertise is valued and your career can grow.
