Job Title : Business Analyst

Job Location : Austin, Texas- Onsite

Job Description

Support higher education policy initiatives, data-driven decision-making, and process improvements.

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

Develop and maintain workflow diagrams, process maps, and business documentation.

Analyze data trends and create clear, actionable reports.

Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance higher education programs and operational efficiency.

Translate complex data and business needs into meaningful insights.

Support IT and business solution development by documenting requirements and processes.

Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive data.

Improve processes to streamline program operations and increase efficiency.

Assist with user story development and backlog refinement as needed.

Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery within timelines and budgets.

Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Facilitate stakeholder meetings and support conflict resolution when required.

Candidate Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

8 years full-time experience in :

Business analysis, data analysis, or process improvement

Working on complex projects across all development phases

8 years of strong verbal and written communication skills

5 years of experience managing and delivering projects on time and within budget

4 years of experience :

Translating complex data and business requirements into actionable insights

Supporting development and documentation of IT and business requirements and processes

Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and conflict resolution

3 years of experience engaging stakeholders with clear verbal and written communication

2 years of experience :

SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)

Working with confidential data and implementing secure processes

Preferred

2 years experience with user story development in Azure DevOps

1 year experience in Agile development and backlog management

1 year experience working in the Public Sector
