Position Summary
The position is responsible for ensuring product quality across production and quality control functions, maintaining inventory and equipment, and supporting the seamless operation of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
Production : Lamination, Print, and General Quality
- Verify that production standards and drawdowns are accurate and up to date.
- Conduct quality assurance by comparing production samples to established standards.
- Identify and coordinate resolutions for quality issues, specifically in lamination processes.
- Communicate production issues to management in a timely manner.
- Highlight and prepare for upcoming high-priority or “complaint” jobs.
Quality Control Support
Inspect and record results from product sample evaluations.Perform testing on product samples and document findings.Review the next order's job jackets and standard folders to ensure completeness.Conduct checks and testing on incoming raw materials as required.Inventory and Equipment Management
Oversee maintenance of embossing rollers to ensure consistent performance.Monitor inventory levels to maintain adequate supplies of :Back-up rubber rollers.
Adhesives and various backing materials.Testing laboratory equipment and supplies.Qualifications
Skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.Superior color acuity and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.Education & Experience
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing as a Quality Control Technician or in a related field such as lamination or embossing.Experience with color matching or color evaluation preferred.Familiarity with manufacturing environments is essential.Bilingual in (English / Spanish) is required.Flexibility to work 10 hour days
