Job Summary

Are you a relationship-builder who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves leading dynamic teams across multiple locations? Chartwells K12 is hiring a Director of Dining Services to oversee operations at 10 schools within the South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) in Indiana. As part of a large-scale program serving over 14,000 students across 35 school buildings , you'll join a team of 27 passionate salaried managers and report directly to the Resident District Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive impact in a mix of elementary and middle schools—leading daily operations, inspiring a team of 50 associates and 1 supervisor , and building strong, trust-based relationships with school partners, students, and staff.

You'll play a key role in hiring, mentoring, and coaching team members to build a high-performing, motivated workforce. Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, mentor, and inspire our team up 50 frontline union associates.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
• Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.
• Assist with Annual budget and control costs.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of a dining service operation.
