Associate Technical Designer

Our client, a plus size women's brand, is looking for an Associate Technical Designer for to join their team for a 2 month contract!

Responsibilities :

• Works with Technical Designer, Merchants, Product Development, and Design Teams to establish the direction of the fit and garment details.
• Creates tech packs, including specs, accurate points of measurements, garment measurements; develops and / or corrects patterns when necessary.
• Notes all design, specs, and construction discrepancies prior to fittings.
• Develops clear and complete fit comments for each style, including pictures and updated measurements.
• Tracks fit approval and sample process; organizes fit samples received, including logging received samples and scheduling fitting
• Responsible for concept to TOP of assigned and additional product classifications.
• Communicates daily with vendors, Merchants, Design, and Product Development teams for T&A and product execution.
