Job Title
Serves as the principal liaison between Supply Chain and Store Operations for key projects and communication. Role will manage all communications related to delivery schedules including unplanned disruptions and long-term updates. The role oversees the Transportation Operations Center in addition to all Outbound reporting and project support.
Duties & Responsibilities
Communication and Store Projects :
- Develop and manage cross-functional forum(s) between Store Ops and Supply Chain for problem resolution, communication / visibility, and process improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and publish all supporting process documentation.
- Lead the planning and communication of order processing and delivery updates, including short-term changes, disruptions, holiday deliveries, and long-term strategies.
- Coordinate efficient delivery / pickup execution to support new store openings, remodels, relocations, inventories.
Transportation Operations Center (TOC) :
Lead the Transportation Operations Center (TOC); operates 24 / 7 to provide support and after-hours customer service to drivers and stores.Monitors all KPIs and staffing levels to ensure performance targets are being met with expected efficiency.Cultivate a positive work environment that promotes team development while ensuring high-quality support and exceptional customer service for all stakeholders.Investigate, partner with IT, and develop new technological solutions as needed to improve operations and elevate customer service.Publish routine performance reporting and meet with key stakeholders to review performance and discuss any needed actions.Reporting and Analytics :
Ensure all reporting is produced timely and accurately with appropriate insight.Work cross-functionally with Distribution, Transportation, and Store Ops to collect data.Oversee development of tools / reports to improve visibility and drive actionable insights related to : On-time delivery, asset utilization, communication, and claims / damages.Provide data-driven recommendations to support operational decision-making and performance improvement.Team Leadership, Performance Management and Development :
Responsible for professional development of all associates.Develop goals, measure performance, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations.Ensure appropriate staffing and talent exists across organizational structure.Drive high levels of engagement and communication across organization.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) :

Availability to oversee 24 / 7 operation.Qualifications
Work Experience & / or Education :
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.8+ years of experience in transportation, supply chain, or logistics operations, with a focus on reporting, analytics, and team leadership.
