Key Responsibilities :
Translate complex operational needs into specific system and subsystem requirements for vision-based perception systems.Facilitate the integration of perception algorithms (including computer vision, radar processing, and ML) with the overall flight control and autonomy framework.Create extensive requirements documentation that adheres to aviation certification standards while promoting quick innovation.Work alongside cross-functional teams (ML engineers, computer vision experts, hardware engineers) to design and validate perception system structures.Lead technical reviews to ensure perception systems adhere to performance, safety, and reliability standards.Promote continuous enhancements in the development and certification processes for perception systems in autonomous flight.Basic Qualifications :
Experience in developing requirements and designing system architectures for perception systems in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or aerospace industries.Solid background in computer vision, sensor fusion, or machine learning applications.Ability to break down high-level requirements into detailed system specifications.Familiarity with regulatory certification processes (e.g., FAA) is highly beneficial.Outstanding analytical and technical documentation skills.A collaborative approach to teamwork across varied disciplines.Preferred Qualifications :

Our compensation reflects various factors across the US employment market. The salary for this position ranges from $136,100 in lower geographic areas to $235,200 in higher regions. Pay is determined based on several factors, including job-specific knowledge, skills, and experience.
