Electrical Superintendent – Childress, TX
Pay : $50 / hr (Second shift +$3 / hr differential)
Schedule : 7-day work week | Day Shift : 7am–7pm | Night Shift : 7pm–7am
Type : Temp-to-Perm

Position Summary
The Electrical Superintendent will oversee electrical crews performing wiring, terminations, I / O connections, troubleshooting, and systems integration in both field and shop environments. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple project phases to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and direct electrical construction activities in accordance with project schedules and specifications.
- Review drawings, schematics, and project requirements to determine timelines, labor, and materials.
- Procure and schedule materials, tools, and subcontractors to meet project deadlines.
- Supervise 5–15 electrical employees, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and productivity.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and performance growth.
- Troubleshoot electrical panels and systems, including situations without schematics or drawings.
- Conduct site inspections, manage quality control, and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and customers to provide regular updates.
- Assist in preparing project proposals by estimating labor hours and costs.
- Support company operations by allocating electricians to panel shop or maintenance needs as required.

Associate’s degree, technical training, or completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship.Minimum of one year in a supervisory role; experience in electrical construction or systems integration preferred.Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician’s License .Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Valid driver’s license required for travel between job sites.Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Frequent exposure to electrical hazards, outdoor weather, and elevated work areas.Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and crawling.Use of standard electrical tools and test equipment required.Driving between job sites is a regular part of the role.Job Details
