Location : Travel Role - Field-based 100% Travel (Upstate NY, Denver, Midwest, etc.)

The Solar Construction Superintendent provides on-site leadership for midsize community solar projects ranging from 1 to 10 megawatts (MW).

This role oversees all field operations including civil, mechanical, and electrical work to ensure safe, timely, and budget-conscious project delivery.

The Superintendent leads field crews and subcontractors, enforces quality and safety standards, and serves as the primary on-site contact for stakeholders.

Must be willing to travel and hold a valid drivers license.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily field operations, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules, including a detailed 2-4 week look-ahead.
• Coordinate logistics for materials and equipment to ensure timely availability.
• Monitor labor productivity and manage costs to maintain budget compliance.
• Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
• Conduct daily job hazard analyses and safety talks.
• Maintain the Quality Management System through regular inspections and adherence to design specifications.
• Act as the on-site liaison for project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and utility inspectors.
• Maintain accurate project documentation (daily reports, logs, site photos).
• Participate in subcontractor and project meetings to coordinate progress.
