The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs. CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community. CFCE expanded in early 2012 to include a health care center, The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center.
The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), offers an array of preventative health services including but not limited to : general and sick care for adults and children, OB / GYN, dental services, nutrition programs and mental health and substance abuse treatment for children and adults.
As an Registered Dietician, you will provide health education and medical nutrition services.

Some of the Functions Include :
Basic screenings and recommendations for preventive healthy lifestyle interventionIndividual consultations regarding nutrition and lifestyle changes, upon referral by physicianEducational group sessions regarding nutritional and diabetics preventionCommunity outreach and education on nutritional aspects of chronic disease management and prevention.Maintain appropriate documentation of client and patient care services rendered in the Electronic Health Record or other record-keeping system, as specified by the FQHCProvide reports on patient compliance, progress toward meeting goals, and other statistical data as may be required for Health Center reportingConduct recruitment efforts to engage community in healthy lifestyle activities offered at ClinicImplement education and support groups consisting of Clinic patients, as well as community clients to offer health and nutrition guidance and informationProvide individual, as well as, parent / child consultation on nutrition and wellness, upon referral by physiciansProvide Medical Nutrition Therapy services subject to written dietary order and based on diagnosis and information received from a referring physicianMinimum Education
Qualified by the appropriate licensure and certification2 to 3 years nutrition educationAccess to a well maintained vehicle, valid auto insurance, and a current and valid Driver’s LicenseNote : This is a contractor position.
