CVICU RN Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – CVICU Registered Nurse Location : Florence, South Carolina 29505 Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital Unit : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : March 2, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), holiday rotation included Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570-$1680 Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Float Requirement : Yes, within scope and similar units Charting System : Epic Scrub Color : Royal Blue Parking : Free onsite parking CVICU RN Qualifications Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (must be valid before start date) Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU nursing experience (2 years preferred) Cardiac and neuro nursing experience required Travel nursing experience required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Experience with Epic charting system preferred Ability to float to similar units as needed Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Not accepting local travelers (must reside outside 60-mile radius of Florence, SC) First-time travel nurses not accepted CVICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac and neuro conditions Perform and assist with specialized procedures : arterial line management, chest tube insertion / removal, central line care, ECMO, IABP, Impella, CRRT, Swan Ganz, cardiac output monitoring Administer emergency medications and titrate cardiac / vasoactive drips Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including respiratory therapy and phlebotomy Maintain infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions Float to similar units as required to support hospital needs Participate in holiday and weekend rotations Apply now to join our healthcare team in Florence, SC and start your next travel nursing adventure as a CVICU Registered Nurse!
