Our client is a leading global supplier systems, equipment, and services to specialized industries (pulp and paper, chemical, hydropower etc.
and due to rapid growth are seeking Field Service Engineer to support the Project Management Team in Fiber Division in Pulp & Paper Industry at corporate office in Atlanta GA
Working hybrid 3 days in office / 2 days from home You will :
Performs field service jobs (technical supervision for work crews, equipment inspections, equipment installations, in-field repairs) with the goals of proper execution and customer satisfaction.
The role will have the primary responsibility of project execution, mill customer interaction, and vendor support of field service projects.
Additionally, the role will support Product Managers in RFQ development and sales of these scopes. The employee will represent Company to customers, showcasing the company’s core values.
Education and Experience
- B.S. in Engineering / Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience.·Minimum five years’ experience in equipment bearings, weldments required with twin roll presses, compaction baffles or vacuum washer equipment IDEAL.
- Fluent in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Project is a plus.·Ability to support several projects in different phases at one time.
- Comfortable developing relationships and communicating with all levels and departments within Pulp & Paper mills.·Ability to travel to customer sites within North America (30% avg)·Ability to work in a team environment, both salaried and hourly office and field workforces.
- Assess customer and sub-supplier specifications and incorporate into offerings.·Knowledge of construction industry and industry practices.
