Description : Agile5 Technologies is seeking a skilled Journeyman Change Management Specialist to coordinate and document the complete lifecycle of system changes, from request through approval and implementation. This role is essential for supporting release management activities, ensuring changes are rigorously tested and verified, and maintaining documentation integrity within Agile or DevSecOps environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on seamless change implementation and stakeholder coordination.
Mid-level Change Management Specialist Job Duties :
Coordinate and document the lifecycle of system changes, including change requests, approvals, and implementation.
Support release management activities, including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
Develop and maintain change documentation (impact assessments, rollback strategies, configuration updates).
Collaborate with validation and testing teams to ensure changes are tested and verified prior to deployment.
Support the development of test plans, test cases, and regression test scripts.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and change control meetings (e.g., CABs, CCBs).
Maintain traceability of changes to align with system baselines and repositories.
Assist in the development of training materials and communications related to new or updated processes.
Security Clearance Requirements : Active DoD Secret (S) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.Experience Requirements : Requires 4–6 years of experience in change management, release coordination, or systems documentation. Candidates must have experience supporting Agile or DevSecOps environments and familiarity with configuration management processes and documentation standards. Strong organizational and communication skills are also required.Education Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.Desired Skills / Qualifications : Experience with validation testing, regression testing, and test documentation is highly desirable. Familiarity with ITIL v4, Agile SAFe, or DoD systems engineering practices is a plus. Experience supporting Change Advisory Boards (CABs) or Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), knowledge of automated testing tools, and experience supporting enterprise IT systems or ERP platforms (Oracle EBS) are preferred.
Location : On-Site in Quantico, VA
Status : Full time
Schedule : Day shift, Monday–Friday
Physical Requirements : Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
Travel Required : 10%
