Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification.
• Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption.
• Machine readiness – inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up.
• Identify issues which adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Identify nonconforming materials / products and work with shift leader for resolution.
• Ensure part quality meets established standards.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, as required.
• Complete all shift documentation / paperwork.
• Shift hand-off – go over job status and updates with incoming shift.
• Participate in safety programs and follow all established safety procedures.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
• Ability to operate forklift.

Position Requirements

Work Environment : Inside - manufacturing environment may include hot working conditions.

Equipment / Tools Used : Thermoforming equipment, computers, controls, measurement equipment, pallet jacks, hand tools.

Physical Requirements : Light to Medium work; lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally; bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, twisting, standing for long periods.
