Pharmaceutical Sales Representative Diabetes
IQVIA, in partnership with Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, is currently looking for a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative Diabetes to join our team. In this position, you will promote products in the Endocrinology / Diabetes space. The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative - Diabetes is primarily responsible for achieving sales forecast and gaining adoption and utilization of the drug. This is accomplished by establishing mutually beneficial business relationships with targeted accounts and physicians key to the sales success of the promoted products. The sales representative is also responsible for coordinating sales strategies with appropriate teammates to maximize sales in assigned territory.
Responsibilities include managing customer relationships in defined geographic territory to strengthen the company brand, meeting or exceeding assigned sales volume objectives, developing territory call plans, coordinating appropriate support resources to maximize and strengthen customer relationships, managing selling processes to include forecasting, client starts, product starts, productivity and client relations, maintaining sales prospect lists / sales funnels as required to achieve sales volume targets, maintaining a detailed customer database within Salesforce CRM system, designing and implementing Quarterly Business Plan for assigned geography, attending Technical and sales training programs to further development competencies, managing company expense within policy and defined budget, providing timely feedback to management regarding market trends, competitor activity, and new product / services improvements, demonstrating the highest level of integrity in all customer / company interactions, and replacing patient confidentiality as per HIPAA regulation.
Required qualifications include a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university, minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with documented sales success, endocrinology / diabetes experience, valid driver's license and current auto insurance, willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and successful candidates will demonstrate competencies such as Action Oriented, Drive for Results, Sales Persuasion, Dedication, Perseverance, Ingenuity, and Adaptability. Demonstrated ability to manage and develop an assigned territory with minimal supervision.
