Job descriptionBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical area . 5+ years of recent coding and software design Windows and Linux application programming in C++ A bility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance Initiative and e ager to learn new concepts, tools and techniques Strong communication skills, both oral and written Image processing algorithm development or programming in OpenCV or CUDA Embedded programming FPGA programming in Verilog or VHDL Python Guidance or navigation experience, particularly IMU, INS, or GNSS hardware A dvanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Secure Internet Protocol Router Networks (SIPRNet) interfaces Tracking applications, particularly multi-object tracking Systems integration Neural networks, artificial intelligence, or machine learning
Summary :
Polaris Sensor Technologies, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Software Engineer to work as a part of a multidisciplinary team to design, develop and test innovative software solutions for electro-optical and sensor systems. The engineer should have the initiative to accept and complete tasks in a timely manner .
Typical Responsibilities :
- Develop software interface libraries and applications for electro-optical systems
- Develop data analysis tools, calibration tools, and processed data reports for optical data
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
- Document work product in program reports
