Your primary responsibilities include monitoring fetal and maternal well-being, assisting with delivery procedures, administering medications, providing education and emotional support to new mothers, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. You will collaborate closely with physicians, obstetricians, and medical teams to provide comprehensive maternal healthcare. Flexibility is essential, as your schedule includes rotating shifts, weekend coverage, and on-call duties, often requiring you to float between units as needed. What you bring : Experience in Labor and Delivery Nursing with a strong understanding of obstetric care protocols. Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills to handle high-pressure situations effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and varying schedules with a positive and flexible attitude. Proven track record of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Preferred Education & Experience : A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery units or related obstetric care environments. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN preferred). Previous experience working in a fast-paced hospital setting.
