Position Overview
Seeking a driven and capable Litigation Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join its General Liability / Insurance / Personal Injury practice group. The successful candidate will handle a variety of civil litigation matters in state and federal courts, contributing to a dynamic team that values strategic thinking, client service, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases, including discovery, motion practice, case analysis, depositions, trials, and appeals, primarily in general liability, insurance defense, and personal injury matters.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with clarity, precision, and persuasive legal reasoning.
- Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and co-counsel to develop case theories, strategies, and settlement approaches.
- Appear in both state and federal courts, handling hearings and courtroom advocacy as needed.
- Take ownership of case docketing, deadlines, and procedural compliance to ensure timely progression of litigation.
- Mentor and work alongside junior attorneys and / or paralegals, delegating tasks and reviewing their work.
- Stay abreast of changes in Florida statutes, court rules, and relevant legal precedents in the areas of liability, insurance, and tort law.
Qualifications & Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.3+ years of post-bar litigation experience in general liability, insurance defense, or personal injury matters.Admission to the Florida Bar (required).Prior experience litigating matters in both state and federal jurisdictions is highly desirable.Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet firm expectations for performance and responsiveness.Professional demeanor, sound judgment, and commitment to client service.What We Offer
