Technical Product Manager, Investment Book of Record (IBOR)

Vanguard is hiring a Technical Project Manager to drive the strategic execution and roadmap for products within our Investment Book of Record (IBOR) domain. This role requires a strong understanding of IBORs critical function in delivering real-time investment data and ensuring operational excellence. You will focus on monitoring and optimizing existing products troubleshooting complex issues and implementing enhancements that maintain stability and scalability while aligning technology delivery with business objectives to support enterprise-wide impact.

Responsibilities

Leads technical product management activities for multiple technical products or one strategic technical product. Participates in the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.

Coaches technical product teams towards best practices and learnings. Ensures delivery of messaging communication and customer outreach as necessary.

Partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner and supports / drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.

Leads the planning development and implementation of new technical products. Defines and analyzes technical markets developing detailed product features and requirements and developing implementation plans.

Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.

Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.

Participates in the teams engineering practices in development continuous integration and automated deployment.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred. Minimum of five years related work experience.

Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.

Strong understanding of IBOR and its role in delivering real-time investment data while ensuring operational excellence.
