This position supports the production team. The Production Floor Supervisor will oversee daily tasks of personnel on the Production Floor in a hands-on environment. This is a full-time position with daytime hours covering the duration of the production day, primarily Monday through Friday, including early and late hours as needed.
This candidate must be able to work in a dynamic setting, communicate effectively with team members, perform multiple duties, and engage in new opportunities each day.
Essential Job and Duties
- Supervise daily tasks of Production Floor personnel
- Manage a team of 10-15 employees
- Enforce GMPs and maintain quality standards
- Achieve daily production goals and implement Plant initiatives
- Check labels, lot codes, and product stacking patterns
- Capable of working in various work settings of the facility including warehouse, office, and plant areas
Requirements
- Strong communication and leadership skills required
- Strong attention to detail
- Leads by example
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivated
- Must be able to manage changing priorities associated with a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing facility preferred but not required
- Must be able to withstand standing for long periods of time
