Duke University Health System- Duke Hospital seeks to hire a Patient Care Technician who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together.

Department Profile :

• The Endoscopy Unit at Duke South Clinic is a procedural hospital-based clinic with 7 procedure rooms and 20 prep and recovery bays, caring for an average of 50 patients / day. This area has an advanced GI program.Our team is active in delivering exemplary care for each patient to ensure an excellent patient experience, every time.

Work generally requires two years of experience in health care specialties related to the specific position; two years additional years related experience may be substituted for the technical school OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

Job Summary :

Perform a variety of specialized technical and supportive patient care activities to assist medical professional personnel in diagnostic, therapeutic and research procedures.
