When you think about volunteering at Children's of Alabama, do you want to learn more about the medical side of healthcare? Are you interested in what goes on behind the scenes of our clinical areas while also helping our patients and families? If so, you want to consider looking at the Clinical Aide Volunteer Positions!
At Children's, we have numerous clinical areas that treat our patients for various reasons. The Dental Clinic, Hearing and Speech Clinic, ENT Clinic, Endocrinology Clinic, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy areas, and Orthopedic Clinic are just some of the areas in which we place our Clinical Aide volunteers.
Volunteers placed in any of these areas must be able to follow verbal and written instructions correctly. They also should be able to stand, sit, reach, bend, kneel, or walk long periods of time (even sitting on the floor at times). Clinical Aide volunteers will interact and communicate with children (or adults) regardless of age, size, developmental level, or cultural diversity.
If the Clinical Aide volunteer position sounds like something you would enjoy, please apply!
