TRC is seeking a talented Installation technician to join one of our Healthcare clients for an onsite project based out of Marietta, GA. This is a 3-6 month contract role.
Job Title : Hardware Installation Technician – Healthcare IT Support
Location : Atlanta, GA (Primary facility with travel to peripheral clinics)
Employment Type : Full-Time
Compensation : $22-24 per hour, commensurate with experience
Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Hardware Installation Technician to support our healthcare client's IT infrastructure across multiple facilities in the Atlanta area. This role involves the installation and maintenance of various hardware components, including televisions, computer monitors, printers, and related peripherals, ensuring seamless operation within clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install and configure hardware devices such as TVs, monitors, printers, and other peripherals in patient rooms, administrative offices, and clinical areas.
- Ensure all installations comply with healthcare facility standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with IT and clinical staff to schedule installations with minimal disruption to patient care.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of installed hardware to ensure optimal performance.
- Document installation processes, configurations, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Maintain an organized inventory of hardware components and installation tools.
- Travel to peripheral clinics as required to perform installations and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) are a plus.Minimum of 2 years of experience in hardware installation, preferably within healthcare settings.Proficiency in installing and configuring hardware devices and peripherals.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between facilities.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with low-voltage wiring and AV system installations.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and their hardware requirements.Knowledge of networking fundamentals and cable management best practices.
