The Chemistry Lab Manager will oversee operations across two early-stage discovery laboratories. This role is critical to enabling scientists to focus on breakthrough research by ensuring seamless lab operations, maintaining instrument uptime, and optimizing workflows. You'll be the operational backbone of the lab, managing everything from complex instrumentation to day-to-day consumables and collaboration with operations partners such as lab safety.

Key Responsibilities :

Instrumentation Management & Maintenance :

• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and repairs for all laboratory instruments, including oligonucleotide synthesizers, FPLC / AKTA systems, HPLC / UPLC systems, chromatography systems (Biotage / Isco), KF instruments, balances, and automation equipment.
• Serve as primary liaison with instrument service vendors and repair technicians.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and perform hands-on maintenance when appropriate.
• Prepare buffers, eluents, and mobile phases for all purification instruments.
• Maintain instrument logs and service records.

This is a full-time, onsite position based on a first-shift schedule (Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm), with overtime required as needed. Candidates located within a commutable distance to Boston, Massachusetts, are strongly encouraged to apply.
