Looking for a motivated and experienced Selection Technician to join our team and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations.

Position Summary : Runs sorting line equipment to ensure proper production levels and quality standards are met. Makes corrective actions as necessary. Ensures proper inventory of necessary supplies are consistently available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Performs routine, non-complex maintenance duties as required.

Serves as the subject matter expert for the Surface Inspection Machine.

Performs corrections / adjustments as necessary to improve operation.

Coaches / trains others to improve production techniques and capabilities.

Develops operators to perform simple maintenance related tasks.

Runs selection line and related equipment.

Programs / sets up line machinery to ensure proper boxing and labeling based upon production orders.

Visually continually inspects product to ensure quality standards have been achieved.

Flags any quality problems and alerts Quality Control Specialists to any concerns / issues.

Runs sorting line to ensure products jams, chips, damage, etc. are minimal.

Ensures proper labels and corrugated boxing is used, based upon production being run.

May lift completed products of approximately60 lbs. to perform duties.

May operate forklift as needed.

Ensures proper levels of operating supplies (labels, corrugated, etc.) are always available.

Maintains production and quality control logs are maintained in accordance with established procedures.

Comply with safety regulations (OSHA and Company) and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications :

Requires a high school diploma / GED.

1+ years of Selection department experience strongly preferred.

Should possess computer skills needed to run selection line software.

Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Must be able to work on high platforms as necessary.

Must be able to lift and move objects up to 60 pounds consistently with heavier weights as necessary at times.
