Human Resources Generalist
LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in the North Western suburbs of Chicago to identify a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoys being a trusted resource for both employees and managers.
As a Human Resources Generalist, you'll play a vital role in supporting HR operations, employee relations, and compliance. You'll act as the go-to contact for HR questions, ensuring a positive employee experience and smooth HR processes across the organization.
Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities :
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and HR support
- Manage employee relations issues and investigations confidentially
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and new-hire integration
- Administer benefits, open enrollment, and leave programs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws
- Partner with managers to support performance management and employee development
- Maintain HRIS accuracy and generate reports for leadership
- Participate in HR projects and culture-building initiatives
Human Resources Generalist Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field35 years of HR Generalist experienceStrong understanding of employment law and HR best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, manufacturing environmentProficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office SuiteWhat's in it for me?
