About Our Units

Our general medical and surgical units cater to a diverse population of patients with varying diagnoses, including :

• Chronic illnesses : COPD, Diabetes, CHF, End-stage renal disease
• Gastrointestinal issues : Pancreatitis, Bleeding, Gastroparesis, Inflammatory bowel diseases
• Infections : Pneumonia, Cellulitis, Sepsis, UTI, C-diff
• Neurological issues : Stroke, Dementia, Traumatic brain injuries
• Mental health disorders : Depression, Anxiety, Substance abuse

Our patients also undergo various procedures such as colonoscopies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, bronchoscopy, and minor surgeries (lap chole, incision and drainage, biopsies, amputation).

To be successful in this role, you should have :

Work Schedule

You will work 12-hour shifts, with a requirement of 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks. You will float to areas in greatest need, with patient ratios of 1 : 5. While floating, you will only be assigned to other medical units.
