Training Design and Coordinator

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Three (3) years of full time experience with creating training materials, online content development, or instructional development. Experience with designing and developing engaging online training modules using multimedia and interactive elements. Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, Communications, or a related field. Experience developing compliance-related online training content on Title VII, Title IX, ADA, Sexual Harassment Prevention, or diversity and inclusion. Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise 360). Experience with video production and editing for online learning. Experience conducting needs assessments and evaluating training program effectiveness. Certification in instructional design, e-learning development, or related areas (e.g., CPLP, Certified E-Learning Professional). Experience with accessibility standards and best practices for online learning content (WCAG, Section 508).

Brief Description of Duties :

The Training Design and Coordinator is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of training programs that advance the University’s strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with state, federal, and SUNY system requirements.

Training Development & Instructional Design

• Design, develop, and maintain accessible, interactive online training content that incorporates multimedia resources.
• Develop training materials on critical topics such as discrimination complaints, accommodation requests, sexual harassment prevention, sexual violence response, and diversity and inclusion.
