Accounting & Administrative Support Specialist

Pay : $24–$26 / hr

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (1-hour lunch), flexible hours

Location : Local company partnered with Express Employment Professionals

Express Employment Professionals is seeking qualified candidates for an Accounting & Administrative Support Specialist role with a respected local organization. This position supports accounting functions, general office duties, and light HR tasks, requiring strong attention to detail and proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop.

Key Responsibilities

Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks

Use QuickBooks Desktop for invoicing, time sheets, payroll, and payroll tax processing

Open job orders and enter client information into internal systems

Draft proposals and complete general data entry

Answer and transfer incoming phone calls professionally

Provide support with basic HR-related tasks

Code invoices and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

QuickBooks experience required

Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Strong initiative and ability to learn quickly

Detail-oriented and highly organized

Self-starter with the ability to assume increasing responsibilities over time
