Join Samaritan Healthcare's Diagnostic Imaging Team! As an Ultrasound Technician, you are responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a safe and prudent manner for the specific purpose of producing a high-quality diagnostic exam.
Performs OB / GYN ultrasound exams including 3 D imaging as appropriate. A great candidate has demonstrated experience in the ability to follow appropriate guidelines for exams, patient needs, exercise confidentiality, quality control, and improvement, archiving and exceptional patient service skills.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :
- Associate in Applied Science - Allied Health Science.
- Registered - ARDMS in abdomen and / or OB / GYN or equivalent.
- One (1) year clinical experience required in abdomen and OB / GYN exams. Prefer Vascular Registry, in addition.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
- Feels comfortable working independently.
This is a part-time opportunity working 10hrs a week.
