Service Contract Act (SCA) Position

Hourly Rate : $17.50-$19.63

Duties and Responsibilities :

Qualifications :

Additional Requirements : Ability to perform administrative duties without immediate and constant supervision. Ability to type accurately at a fast speed. Proficient in the use of a personal computer. Working knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Thorough knowledge of office procedures. Effective organizational skills. Sound business telephone techniques. Ability to proofread and correct grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. Ability to effectively relate to trainee population. Ability to deal effectively with the public and government officials. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Position requires an ability to operate office equipment. In addition, an individual must be able to interact with team members and maintain an effective working relationship with all facility staff and departments.

Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.
