Responsibilities As an engineer in a relatively new team, work on challenging problems in the low latency / high throughput domain of dynamic ad insertion for Live Sports and Video on demand.

Contribute to architecture that processes high TPS (in millions) with high reliability and low operational overhead; build systems in the core path of video delivery to Prime Video customers worldwide.

Collaborate with teams using AWS technologies including AWS CloudFront, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, SNS, SQS and internal AWS incubator technologies.

About the team The team designs large-scale systems to power live and VoD streams with ads viewed by a massive audience daily, elevating the customer streaming video experience.

Basic Qualifications 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600 / year in our highest geographic market.
