Director, Special Programs

HawkEye is seeking a strategic and technically adept Director, Special Programs to join our team to drive the strategy and execution of strategic programs for the company. In this role, you will lead the initial formulation, technical and programmatic definition, and execution of highly engineered hardware and software systems (space, ground and other domains) to complement the standard HawkEye 360 capabilities.

Location : This position is based in Herndon, Virginia.

As the Director, Special Programs, your main responsibilities will be :

• Work closely with customers, sales, solutions, engineering, and exec team to define concepts, requirements and business cases for highly disruptive new programs.
• Lead the end-to-end management of several strategic special programs, from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with company business objectives and customer needs.
• Oversee the development, testing, and integration of hardware & software systems, coordinating with the Engineering teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Support the new business capture for these special programs
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and reporting on program status, risks, and issues

Base Salary Range : $175,000 - $225,000 annually HawkEye 360 offers a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
