Geospatial Analyst to join our
Southern Rocky Mountain Bioregion team in Denver, CO.
The Geospatial Analyst will
be responsible for
data collection,
data
management
, map creation,
and
spatial
analyses for a wide variety of project types and scales including watershed and ecological assessments, wetland delineation, restoration planning, climate resiliency,
federal / state environmental
permitting
and integrated water strategie
s.
Work will focus
primarily
on projects in
Biohabitats'
western
bioregions
with supporting services provided to our eastern
bioregions

Role
and Responsibilities
Generating, managing,
maintaining
and
conducting
quality control
of
data that inform a wide variety of environmental and ecological projects
Developing visually appealing,
legible
, and informative
map
s to communicate natural resource assessments and
project
design
Developing working, interactive,
online,
and cloud-based (ArcGIS Online)
web
maps
and field forms
for a broad suite of implementation
needs
including internal field work efforts, client communication, community engagement
and public
interaction
ETL data management of both spatial and tabular data
to improve workflow efficiency
Automation of mapping and data management processes
, including streamlining existing data management processes
Creative implementation of spatial thinking, problem solving, solution generation
and a desire to build such
proficiencies
Conducting natural resources and watershed inventories and field assessments.
