About The Position

ID : 74300232 Shift : 12H Days 7a-7p, EOW first to float Description : Unit Notes : - Unit : ICU- # beds : 20 beds - Certs : ACLS. BLS, NIH- Ratios : 1 to 1-2- EMR : Cerner- Charge Nurse : Yes - they do not take a patient assignment - Nurse Aides : No- Weekend Requirement : very other - Holidays : they will work them in with perm staff rotation- Scrub Color : navy - Tele / Monitor Techs : Phillips - they will have a monitor tech if above a certain census, nurses are required to read and interpret tele strips- Drips : Norepinephrine, precadex, epinephrine, vasopressin, etc. - Vents : Puritan Bennette 840 - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house : Intensivist is on 24 / 7 - IV Team : No- RT 24 / 7 : Yes- Pharmacy 24 / 7 : Yes - Shifts : 12 hr shifts, 7-7, self scheduling used but not always guaranteed - Floating : They will have to float to AG to work ICU- Floor specific orientation : 1 shift - Common diagnosis / Types of patients : neuro trauma, cardiac - surgical, open heart, post cath, aortic dissection, fem pops, thoracotomies, CRRT. Etc. - Additional Notes : Must have 2 years experience in ICU, previous travel experience is preferred Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 Charting BSN License to Trauma Level : 3 Care Shift , EOW first to float Required , BLS, COVID Vaccine Required, NIHSS Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Contract Weeks : 91
