Position Introduction / Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to provide support to Boeing's Crew Space Transportation (CST)-100 Starliner spacecraft at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Key Duties :
- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
- Perform verification and validation of system requirements with the proper flow down and traceability for the system, hardware, and software components executing the scope of validation or regression activities required for recertification.
- Ensure system success with ground segments to include heritage systems.
- Support and review regression testing, test plans, procedures, schedules, and documentation preparation to support verification, validation, certification, and transition.
- Support analysis and preparation of test results to verify and validate design and performance to meet government, regulatory, customer, and program compliance requirements.
- Actively participate in integration and test activities for our products
- Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify the basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

- Perform analyses to optimize the total system of systems and / or system architecture.
- Support analyses for safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
- Support the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of the requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.

2 or more years of systems engineering experience.Experience in systems engineering, including system architecture, requirements / interface development and allocation, verification and validation, integration and test, system trades, and risk management.Experience reviewing test plans and reports.Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.Desired Skills, Experience, and Education :
Knowledge and experience in reviewing environmental test data.Experience with human-rated space systems.Business Profile :
