Position Overview :

CDL Dump Truck drivers work on a crew or out of a yard, delivering equipment and materials to and from job sites as well as working on job sites. Performs duties as directed by foreman while operating any or all of the following equipment : backhoe, excavator, vibratory or static plows, trenches, or directional bore machines in the installation, removal, or maintenance of underground utilities and pipe installation.

Essential Functions :

• Ensure correct cargo makes it safely to its destination on schedule, and appropriate paperwork is completed.
• Assisting crews by working on the job site performing various labor-intensive tasks such as hand digging, operating, fusion (depending on qualifications) and clean-up
• A skilled worker who possesses the required knowledge, skill, and physical ability to perform construction and maintenance duties related to the natural gas industry
• Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the job and operate within a short time frame as needed
• Must have personal characteristics suitable for making contact with customers and the public
• Must work well with others
• Must follow all safety policies and safety procedures per Southeast Connections, LLC standards, and the utility customer
• Load material or equipment for transport from the show-up yard to the job site and secure as appropriate the work site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift to ensure public safety and the safety of equipment and materials
