Superintendent Southtree Commercial Construction

Position : Superintendent

Reports To : General Superintendent

Overview :

The Superintendent plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day onsite construction activities, ensuring that work is completed safely, on-time, in a quality manner, and within the set budget. This role includes hands-on management of staff and coordination with vendors and suppliers, as well as maintaining safety, quality and schedule on the job site.

Key Responsibilities :

• Site Supervision :

Oversee and manage the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans, building codes and safety regulations.

Attend project hand-off meetings to become familiar with project scope, budget, labor needs, timelines and critical path items.

Develop and implement quality control programs and inspections.

Safety Compliance :

Enforce safety protocols and ensure workers are following OSHA standards and Southtree's Safety Manual.

Utilize Procore software for documenting meetings; maintaining daily log books for personnel, weather, delays, etc.; notifying subcontractors of delays; reviewing drawings and submittals; documenting progress with photos.
