Executive Medical Director, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance

Location : Remote (Must Currently Live in USA)

Compensation : $270,000 - $375,000 + Bonus LTIs

The Opportunity : We are seeking an Executive Medical Director of Drug Safety to join our client's Drug Safety team. Reporting to the VP and Head of Drug Safety, you will drive clinical safety strategy for assigned programs, provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams, and implement proactive risk management initiatives aligned with global regulatory standards. This role offers the opportunity to shape safety profiles for innovative therapies that are transforming patient lives.

What You'll Do :

• Lead individual case assessments, medical review of case narratives, and signal detection activities for compounds in development
• Interpret aggregate safety data, conduct benefit-risk evaluations, and author signal reports for Health Authority submissions
• Drive risk management plans (RMPs) and risk mitigation strategies with medical and safety leadership
• Collaborate with clinical teams on trial monitoring strategies and present safety data to Data Safety Monitoring Boards
• Provide strategic input on safety sections of regulatory documents (protocols, IBs, CSRs, INDs, annual reports)
• Partner with licensing collaborators and external stakeholders on Safety Data Exchange Agreements and safety communications
• Represent the company in regulatory meetings and respond to Health Authority inquiries with strategic safety assessments
