Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineerto join our client’s team. The successful candidate will work closely with design engineers, internal and external machine shops, and our engine build team to ensure high-quality and efficient production of (challenging!) prototype rotary engine parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the internal machine shop
• Maintain quality controls appropriate for the size, scope, and timeline of each project
• Provide technical support for introduction of new components into supply chain, including Solidworks fixture / tooling design
• Procure materials, tooling, components, etc. from external suppliers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing supply base, while sourcing and evaluating potential new relationships
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
• Monitor supplier performance
• Analyze market trends and recommend strategies to reduce costs and mitigate manufacturing risks
