We are a personal injury law firm in the Houston Galleria area, seeking a BILINGUAL telephone operator to join our team. Our team of operators answers calls for all (4) of our offices.
As a telephone operator, you are the voice and ears of our company. You will answer, direct (transfer), and keep record of ALL incoming calls.
Since our operators are the first voice of contact for people calling our firm, it is imperative that you have the following skill-set and characteristics:
- Ability to speak and project clearly and distinctly, with a friendly confident tone
- Ability to use listening skills to put callers at ease and obtain accurate and complete information
- Ability to stay calm, cool, and collected -- with a good sense of humor
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple phone calls at one time
- Ability to think outside the box and to anticipate the needs of callers and/or co-workers
- A professional and helpful demeanor
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a fast paced and deadline-driven setting (previous operator experience and customer service experience highly preferred
