Internal Medicine / Family Medicine - Per Diem Hospitalist

St. Josephs Health is seeking a board-certified internal medicine or family medicine Physician for a per-diem Hospitalist position at St. Josephs Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Position Overview :

• Availability for 12-hour shifts; 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am (weekday and weekend shifts available)
• Provides professional medical services to an average daily census of 16-18 patients per Provider, closed ICU
• Makes daily rounds on all patients assigned to the Hospitalist Program
• Arranges for necessary follow-up care upon discharge from the Hospital
• Conducts a history and physical examination, and note dictated in our EPIC EMR system
• Work in conjunction with other consultants and Intensivist to effectively manage a medical crisis or change in assigned patients medical condition consulting with applicable parties in a timely fashion
• Works with an established medical center with comprehensive subspecialty support
