Texas Licensed Life Underwriter

A company is looking for a Life Insurance Underwriter (Remote, work from home).

Key Responsibilities

Assess risks and ensure compliance with company standards while maintaining relationships with Life Insurance Agents

Evaluate applicants' health history and review medical information for underwriting decisions

Communicate proactively with agents to secure compliance documents and additional information as needed

Required Qualifications

1-2 years of life insurance underwriting experience

High school diploma or equivalent; preference for some college coursework

Completion of LOMA 280 & 290 within 1 year is strongly recommended

Pursuit of LOMA Underwriting (UND) is mandatory

1-2 years of experience as an Underwriter trainee or Junior Underwriter is preferred
