Sales & CRM Business Analyst

Role Overview :

The Sales & CRM Business Analyst is a critical role within the design team and works closely with business partners and solution architects to deliver value add features to internal sales, marketing, and billing stakeholders.

The features designed are primarily for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions but the BA will have the opportunity to work with a suite of enterprise applications.

The primary focus of the role is to transform stakeholder visions into deliverable features, document design requirements, and transition work items to development teams.

On a typical day you will :

Assess existing Business Processes, System Landscapes, and User Pain Points in order to understand problem statements and recommend ideal technical solutions and system workarounds

Facilitate Requirements Gathering Sessions with Business and Technical stakeholders

Facilitate Functional Design Sessions with Business and Technical stakeholders

Lead the documentation of detailed Functional Design Specifications (FDDs) in the form of Epics, Features, and User Stories

Lead Scrum Team Refinement Sessions with Technical Stakeholders to summarize Feature’s Design, determine estimates, and complete preparation activities for upcoming Sprint Cycles

Present live Product Demonstrations for enhancements being introduced into the solution

Peer review team work items including design documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and presentation materials

Provide Support for QA + UAT Test Case Authoring and Execution Activities

Review, Triage, and provide clarifications for System Bugs and Production Incidents

Prepare System Release Notes to be distributed to End Users for training and change management purposes

Assist with Sprint Planning Activities and send communications to key stakeholders

Participate in team retrospectives and help drive continuous improvement

What You Will Need to be Successful :

Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Minimum of 5 years in the IT industry with increasing responsibilities in the areas of Business Analysis and Functional Design

Deep understanding and experience with the Agile Software Development Lifecycle and the use of agile process management tools

Highly organized and analytical - close attention to detail

Strong Interpersonal skills in areas related to teamwork, facilitation, collaboration, and negotiation

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Articulate & strong presentation skills

Software engineering elicitation

English language proficiency

Experience working with Cloud-Based Solutions that require Data Migrations, System Integrations, APIs, External Reporting, and System Customizations

Preferred : Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Platform (Sales Module)

Proffered : Experience with MS Visio or similar process mapping tools
