Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with demonstrated expertise in switchgear design and application. The ideal candidate will hold an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license and will be responsible for designing, specifying, and supporting power-distribution equipment for commercial, industrial, and utility projects.

This is a hybrid opportunity (3 days remote, 2 days onsite) Salary : $125-160k / yr Responsibilities :

• Design and specify medium- and low-voltage switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers (MCCs), and related power-distribution equipment for commercial, industrial, or utility projects.
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit, arc-flash, and coordination studies to ensure system safety and code compliance (NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E).
• Prepare detailed drawings and documentation including one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, equipment layouts, and bill of materials.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of switchgear and associated protection and control systems.
• Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation, witness factory and field acceptance tests, and generate punch-list reports.
