AWS is looking for best in class OSP Design Engineers and Geospatial Analysts to help build one of the world's largest and most complex networks. Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated, technically savvy Fiber Engineer to help develop and scale one of the world's largest and most complex networks.

As a OSP Design Engineer, you will have the exciting opportunity to design fiber solutions and maintain records surrounding our fiber optic infrastructure using GIS and associated tools. You will :

Interface with internal (Data Center Engineering, Business Developers, Deployment Engineers, Tool Automation) and external stakeholders (Construction Vendors, Engineering Firms, )

Create engineering design and documents, single line drawings, cable routing, and splicing work packages in a GIS system

Ingest and audit GIS data for completeness and accuracy .

Optimize processes to improve efficiency and delivery.

Willing to travel 10% of the time

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience

BS or MS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.

2+ years experience working in GIS Systems.

2+ years of data, inventory, or records management.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of data, inventory, or records management in GIS Systems.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. Hourly pay ranges include the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select.

Colorado $127,100 - $171,900 annually / hourly

National $114,400 - $205,500 annually / hourly

For salaried roles, your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. For hourly roles, as a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses.
